About Madeline

Madeline Morningstar is a facilitator and certified mediator with a research background in Performance Studies from Brown University. With a passion for social justice and education, Madeline currently serves as an Aerie Faculty member at The Wheeler School in Providence, RI. She is on the leadership team of the Queer Political Action Committee of Rhode Island, which creates equitable representation in state and local government by supporting queer, progressive candidates. Committed to conflict resolution, Madeline volunteers in the RI District Court system with the Center for Mediation and Collaboration of Rhode Island. Madeline has worked in the cultural and technology sectors and remains fascinated by the intersection of agency, performance, and emergent technologies. She developed the ‘Choreorobotics Initiative’ at Brown University across the Theatre Arts and Performance Studies and Computer Science departments and the Brown Arts Institute that focused on making Boston Dynamics Spot robots dance.
